Congenital Biliary Atresia

Abstract

|
Congenital atresia of bile ducts is the most common cause of prolonged obstructive jaundice in the neonatal period, and requires a surgical emergency with definitive diagnosis promptly in neonatal period.
We experienced one case of congenital biliary atresia, which was treated surgically by external drainage of the bile duct.
This paper is concerned with out experience of the case and reviewed the literatures.
